Honestly?? Thanks Babe!

I often call 2yo Babe or my baby..cause let's face it, he always will be right!?! I'll also love him forever and ever and beyond, cause that's just what we do as Mums! Well...he sure knows how to solidify the love!! teehee!

Everytime I put 2yo to bed I give him a kiss and a hug and say "I Love You"...I have done this for as long as I can remember... just recently, with his vocab increasing ten-fold I was rewarded! He came up and gave me a huge hug and said into the side of my neck "I laaa you Mummy"...  I was so incredibly excited!! He also says "I laaa you Bubba" or "I laaa you Tilda" ~ talking about his sister, and he'll tell me "I laa Daddy"...  Now the cheeky little thing says it to me a lot but also tries to use it when getting out of being naughty!!!!! He's a clever one!

Yesterday it was quite warm so when we got back from our walk I slipped on a dress...I don't own many, except the type you wear out at night to functions...so this is just a simple, long, jersey knit dress..... flowy and comfie!  2yo points to me and says "Mummy cewwt" "Mummy cewwt"...I wasn't sure what he was thinking, but after a moment, realised he was saying "Mummy cute"...awwwwwwwwwwwww!!! 2yo don't know how to lie right?! Right?!?!!!! heheeee!

He make me SMILE so so so much!!!!

I'll leave you with a photo of the cheeky little brat who manages to melt my heart someway every day!!!!

Progress Report....

Well.... here is a little progress report for my challenge.... we are 21 hours down and thus far I have been able to resist the pull to click those like buttons and comment on those status'!! It's extremely HARD!!! It's my entertainment!
So ... there is now a FB group called The GREAT FB & Twitter challenge... is it sad that there are people joining this! Even Mumsy is getting in on the act!

I'm so thankful for MSN & Yahoo IM!  I have also stated that if I fail..which is NOT going to happen, I will buy Lisa an autographed Robert Pattinson pic....however I know I will not fail, so FAIL to Lisa on that one!! lmao!

Well..the dishes are still in the sink, kids clothes all over the floor and I haven't put Coopers' toys away yet, but it will happen!!!!

Keep in touch! I'm still watching, so no nasty comments or on Firday I'm coming after you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oooo and on an end note.... Aussie Twilight Mums are still going to be featured in the paper (can't wait to see how the photos turned out!) but they are also looking at having a spot on "The Morning Show"...I hope to be front row proudly showing off my Twilight Mum t-shirt!!! Without Twilight I wouldn't have met these crazy people who are setting me such silly but fun challenges!!

What does Bob Say?

Can we do it? YES WE CAN!!!
I have been set a challenge by the wonderful *coughcough* Lisa (aka Robrator) whom I share many things with, but one mainly being a slight teeny weeny addiction to Twitter and Facebook!

She has challenged me to no Facebooking and no Tweeting for 24 hours, but as I thought it should be done properly, I upped the anti and said I wouldn't do it for 48 hours!!!

It started at Noon today and not one minute into it I was itching to comment or update my status! hahaha! My heart was palpatating thinking of having to close down my windows, but I wasn't too sure if it was from the knowledge of no Facebook or Twitter time, or if it was the Voltage coffee with ground coffee beans from Gloria Jeans!!

This should be a fun challenge and I am fully expecting tomorrow, when 2yo goes to his grandparents for the day, I will have the house sparkling and the kids clothes FINALLY put away!!!!

Precious Memories

Kids are amazing...but we all know that! There are many times I want to get into the head of my 2yo and figure out his thought processes!

For instance:

Today he woke up from his nap and told me he had a 'sore tummy' and he was rubbing it... I decided to offer him some water, thinking perhaps that would help him, in case it was from constipation..
I fill his sippie cup with yummy ice cold water and hand it to him.  With a polite thank you, he takes it and pushes up his shirt and places the sippie cup on his tummy!  I smile everytime I think of this!!!!
I ask him what he's doing and he tells me "it hurts, help hurts"... teehee...
I told him that the water was for him to drink!!
I ended up giving him his Nemo BooBoo Ice Pack and he proceeded to place that on his sore tummy and drink his water!

Amazing..the thought process for a 2yo to think that putting an icepack on his tummy will help.  I know we've done it perhaps two other times for him..once when he busted his lip open at the shopping mall, and once when he hurt his big toe and it was bleeding and bruised!  The little mastermind has retained that information and used it to help himself!!

On an end note...we have been learning the difference between an 'inside hurt' and an 'outside hurt'....and 'outside hurt' does get you a very ultra cool Wiggles band-aid, however an 'inside' hurt doesn't...needless to say he is still trying to pass 'inside hurts' such as tummy aches as an 'outside hurt' just to score that prized Anthony, Jeff or Dorothy band-aid, or his favourite Big Red Car one!!!

I love this kid!!!!

Preparation for Santa Claus??

What happens when you leave your son in the capable hands of his Father while you go back to bed and catch up on some much needed sleep?????  Let me show you!!!

You have a VERY PROUD 2 year old who gets into the Nappy Rash Bum Cream and plasters it ALL over his face!!!!!

At least we know he won't get any rashes on his face!!!!!
